Dr. Ivey's passion for plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery drives his commitment to providing patients with the most advanced and personalized care. His journey began with a strong educational foundation, graduating from Drexel University College of Medicine and completing a five-year general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital. Recognizing the importance of specialized training, Dr. Ivey pursued additional fellowship training beyond plastic surgery, focusing on aesthetic surgery of the face, pediatric surgery, and craniofacial surgery. This unique combination of expertise allows him to approach each patient's needs with a comprehensive and well-rounded perspective. Dr. Ivey's board certification by the American Board of Surgery further demonstrates his commitment to upholding the highest standards of surgical excellence.

Dr. Ivey's private practice is located in the heart of Kihei, offering a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere for patients. Our AAAHC fully accredited operating room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring the safest and most effective surgical experience. We are proud to feature Tesla backup batteries within our operating room, providing uninterrupted power in the unlikely event of an outage, further prioritizing patient safety. Patient comfort and care are paramount, which is why we utilize local, IV sedation, or general anesthesia, administered with the expertise of our highly qualified MD and CRNA anesthesia providers.

Concierge Service for Out-of-Town Patients

We understand that traveling for surgery can be a logistical challenge. For our out-of-town patients, we offer a dedicated concierge service to make the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Our practice is conveniently located just a short drive from world-renowned resorts in Wailea, allowing you to recover in the stunning paradise of Maui. Many patients choose to fly in for their procedure and stay on the island to complete their postoperative recovery. Dr. Ivey personally monitors each out-of-town patient's progress, ensuring a smooth and successful recovery before they return home.
