Meet the Team

Our team at Cardinal Plastic Surgery consists of highly trained and experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients.

*Deanna, our Certified Medical Assistant, joined our team in June 2021. She assists in the clinical setting, guides you through your initial consult, and provides pre- and post-operative care. Deanna is currently a senior at ODU and aspires to obtain her Physician Assistant license.*

*Jenn, our Patient Care Coordinator, joined our team in August 2022. She is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations, coordinating and scheduling surgeries, and supporting front office needs.*

*Lindi, our Receptionist, joined our team in October 2021. She is the first face you see at the front desk, handles both reception and check out, manages appointment scheduling, insurance verifications, referrals, patient payments, and administrative tasks.*

Meet the Doctor

*Dr. Julia Stevenson*

Dr. Stevenson is a board-certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who was born and reared in Columbus, OH. She received a unique educational foundation from the Columbus Public Schools and the Columbus School for Girls. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hampton University with a degree in Biology and earned her medical doctorate at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Dr. Stevenson completed a rigorous plastic surgery residency at Penn State Hershey and was the first African-American to graduate from the distinguished program.

Dr. Stevenson has a passion for mentorship and has opened her office up to college and medical students for educational and shadowing opportunities. She has volunteered her services as a surgeon through medical mission work in Ghana with Anidaso Health and its affiliate, Salormey Volunteers Group. Dr. Stevenson opened Cardinal Plastic Surgery in December 2018 with a purpose of empowering patients through effective advocacy, education, and first-class care that focuses on the unique beauty of each patient.
